Take a Bite Out of Cancer at the Women’s Soccer Match Friday, Oct. 14

NSU rowing will receive 2011 SSC Championship rings and Berger will be honored by the NCAA at halftime.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The first 300 fans in attendance for the women’s soccer match against Rollins, at 6 p.m. Fri., Oct. 14, at the NSU Soccer Complex, will receive a free “Take a Bite Out of Cancer” t-shirt. All proceeds and donations from the evening will go to the American Cancer Society.

At halftime, the NSU rowing team will receive their 2011 Sunshine State Conference Championship rings for their victory last spring. Additionally, coxswain Courtney Berger (So., Stratford, N.J.) will be presented with the NCAA’s National Sportsmanship Award for female athletes.
