WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Varsity 8 has once again been named the Sunshine State Conference Boat of the Week for the period ending April 10. This is the Sharks’ fourth consecutive Boat of the Week Honor this spring season.
The NSU eight notched another impressive victory at the FIRA state championship, clinching the V8 State Championship Trophy. The Sharks posted a season-best time of 6:29.4 to shave 16.2 seconds off their previous best mark. The NSU boat edged out second-place Jacksonville by a 2.4 second split margin. The win helped Nova Southeastern capture the trophy for most overall points earned at the regatta. Manning the NSU boat were coxswain
