FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Student-Athletes in Nova Southeastern’s Student-Athlete Affairs Program donated food over the holiday break to the Helping Abused Neglected Disadvantaged Youth program, in what has become an annual tradition.

The Sharks partnered with HANDY to help collect food donations such as potatoes, canned goods and cereal. The Sharks also collected several gift cards to local grocery chains. The Sharks also helped sponsor families during the holiday season.

Student-Athlete Affairs (SAA) was created to support the student-athlete development initiatives of the NCAA member institutions and to enhance the quality of the student-athlete experience within the context of higher education.
