She’s just a sophomore, but former South Broward High star Danielle Robinson already has emerged as the basketball leader at Nova Southeastern University.
Robinson, a 5-8 guard, averaged 13.2 points last season and was named the conference’s Freshman of the Year.
“Danielle is ready to make a big jump from freshman to sophomore years,” Nova coach LeAnn Freeland said.
Nova, which will be a huge underdog when it plays an exhibition game at the University of Miami on Nov. 5, has other top returners, a list that includes 5-6 senior guard Meixandra Porter and 5-11 junior point guard Jessica Russi.
