FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern senior
Erin Black (Fort Myers, Fla.) has been selected as the Sunshine State Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week presented by VALIC.
Black picked up three victories and a pair of NCAA “B” qualifying times in the Sharks’ 159-46 win over Saint Leo. Black took individual wins with a time of 5:01.88 in the 500-yard freestyle and 10:27.88 in the 1,000 freestyle. Both of those performances met the Division II “B cut” standards. She also joined the 200-yard freestyle relay team for a first-place time of 1:40.38.
The Sharks will swim again Saturday Nov. 3rd, in Winter Park, Fla. to take on the Rollins Tars at 1 p.m.
