FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Both of Nova Southeastern’s men’s and women’s cross country teams are ranked in the top three in the South Region, according to this week’s USTFCCCA.org cross country rankings.
According to the polls, NSU’s women’s cross country team is ranked second in the South Region, just behind conference foe and SSC Champions from a year ago, Tampa. The women are also ranked 34th in the nation according to the same poll, Tampa is ranked 12th.
The men, who finished second at the South Florida Invite earlier this month, are ranked third in the South Region, behind Alabama-Huntsville and SSC’s Florida Southern. The Sharks are ranked ahead of SSC foes Tampa and Florida Tech.
Both the men’s and women’s teams will be traveling to Stillwater, Okla. to take part in the Cowboy Jamboree, Saturday, Sept. 29th.
