FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – On Tuesday, Aug. 30, the Nova Southeastern cheerleaders helped pump up and entertain the crowds at the Pink Premier celebration to help the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event at the Grand Oaks Golf course.
Their contributions to the cause included welcoming breast cancer survivors to the kickoff, handing out raffle tickets and taking pictures. Even during the sad stories shared by the survivors, the girls were able to remind them of their reason to smile: that they are alive and cancer free.
