FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University rowing team, entering its 13 season, has announced its 2012 fall schedule.
NSU will now be led by new head coach Stephen Frazier-Wong, from North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Frazier-Wong will look to start of strong and build on the team’s success from 2011-12, when the Sharks finished third at the NCAA National Championship last May. The team also won its fifth Sunshine State Conference Championship in 2012.
NSU will start its fall schedule Oct. 6 in Miami, Fla., where they will take on Barry and Miami. On Oct. 13 the team will head to Jacksonville, Fla. to compete in the First Coast Head Race. Finally, on Nov. 10 they will travel to Fellsmere, Fla. to race in the FIRA Fall Classic.
The NCAA Championships will be held in Indianapolis, Ind. this season from May 31 to June 2.
