HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University tennis team gave back to the community Saturday by aiding the Community Enhancement Collaboration of Washington Park in their annual turkey giveaway.
 
The Sharks spent the morning handing out turkeys and a variety of groceries to families in need of help for Thanksgiving. The Sharks were set up at different food stations and assisted hundreds of families lined up around the block.
 
Established in 2004, the non-profit organization "Community Enhancement Collaboration, Inc.," affectionately known as CEC, was formulated. CEC launched a variety of programs that included a choice food pantry, clothing bank, referrals, bike to work, back to school supplies, child car seats, educational workshops, crime watch, toy drive, Thanksgiving and Christmas feeding to name a few. In addition CEC has established computer training/employment for the seniors and a summer job program for the youth.
