FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. –
Brooks Fleming (Sr., Palm City, Fla.), a member of the Nova Southeastern University baseball team, has just been named to the Division II CoSIDA Academic All-District 2013-14 Team. Fleming is the first NSU baseball player since 2008 to be honored with this selection.
On the field, Fleming has a team-leading 38 RBI, a .517 slugging percentage and is tied for a team-high four home runs. In the classroom, he earned a 3.56 GPA while finishing up his degree in business administration.
Fleming and the Sharks will conclude their 2014 season with a three-game series against Rollins College at the NSU Baseball Complex, beginning at 6 p.m.
