CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – For the third time in as many seasons in her Nova Southeastern career, junior women's golfer
Daniela Ortiz has garnered an All-American nod, as she was named to the second team by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
Ortiz (Morelia, Mexico) led the Shark women this year with a 76.2 scoring average and had six top-10 finishes, including medalist honors at the Dennis Rose Invitational held in Hilo, Hawaii, in late October. She is up to 27 top-10 finishes in her three-year career, and has earned All-American status following each season.
