"It's great to open the season with a win where every player contributed," said head coach Amanda Brown. "This tournament highlighted some areas we can improve in and I'm looking forward to getting back to work this week to continue improving."

Placing behind the Sharks and Barry, last year's NCAA National runners-up, was the host school Rollins (926). Saint Leo was fourth at 929, with Wingate coming in fifth at 956. The individual medalist was Madison Lellyo of Rollins with a 223, followed by Barry's Martina Bertuccioli (224), Cammisa, Freedman and the duo of Saint Leo's Marie Coors and Natalia Segura of Wingate in fifth at 227.

The Sharks will be back on the links a week from Sunday for their next event, the NCAA DII National Preview.
