FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nova Southeastern University student-athletes attended the career fair prep workshop in the athletic academic center on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

The meeting also introduced the center's newest career advisor, Jenny Utroska, who gave the presentation to the 24 student-athletes in attendance."We are definitely looking forward to having Jenny in our Athletic Academic Center every Wednesday from 11-12 p.m. for career advising with our student-athletes," said athletic academic services graduate assistant Cristie Ledon.


The workshop taught the Sharks how to properly network and interact with employers, dress for career events, create a resume and format thank you emails.

"Our Career Fair Prep workshops are continually growing and getting better each semester," said Ledon. "The presentation was interactive and engaging, our student-athletes were able to learn a variety of ways to be successful at the NSU Job and Internship Fair next week."
