MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University men's basketball team placed two players, Chris Page and Harrison Goodrick, on the 2015-16 All-Sunshine State Conference teams, voted on by the league coaches and announced by the league office on Wednesday.
 
The Sharks were one of only two squads, along with Florida Southern, to place more than one player on the All-Conference teams. Page (Sr., Plainfield, Ind.) earned his third all-SSC nod in as many years, and second straight First Team selection, while Goodrick (Jr., Sydney, Australia) was chosen to the Second Team for the first yearly honor of his Shark career. The duo combines to average over 37 points per game, and rank among the league leaders in other categories as well.
 
At 21.5 points per game, Page is third among all SSC players, while Goodrick is ninth at 15.6. Goodrick is also second in the league in rebounding, averaging 9.3, and fourth in field goal percentage, making good on 56.7 percent of his shots. Page is eighth in that latter category at 46.5 percent, and is tied for third in 3-pointers made (2.8 per game), fifth in free throw shooting (83.9 percent), and tied for sixth in steals (1.6).
 
Barry's Yunio Barrueta was selected as SSC Player of the Year, while taking home his third consecutive Defensive Player of the Year was Corbin Jackson of Florida Tech. Tom Ryan of Eckerd was voted as Coach of the Year.
