MELBOURNE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern University women's tennis team received four All-Sunshine State Conference tennis awards as announced by the conference office on Friday afternoon.
 
The Sharks, who are currently ranked fourth nationally, look ahead into Monday's NCAA South Regional first round against No. 8 University of West Florida. The conference coaches voted Klaudia Boczova (Jr., Bratislava, Slovakia) and Petra Jurova (Sr., Bratislava, Slovakia) as All-SSC First Team singles.
 

Boczova, who is currently undefeated in singles matches with 13 total victories in No. 1 singles, including a 6-4, 6-0 sweep over the 2016 SSC Player of the Year from Saint Leo Natalia Siedliska, was included in the All-SSC First Team Singles list for the first time with the Sharks.
 

For the second consecutive year, Jurova receives All-SSC First Team Singles inclusion with an impressive 15-3 mark, 9-0 playing as No. 2 singles and 6-3 playing as No. 3 singles. Jurova teamed up with Sabrina Kierberg (Jr., Munich, Germany) to take an All-SSC Second Team Doubles spot with a remarkable 11-1 season mark.
 
Kierberg was included for a second time in the All-SSC Second Team Doubles list alongside Boczova. The duo recorded a 4-2 record in No. 1 doubles toward the end of the season against primarily conference rivals.

 
"We have worked really hard to get to where we are right now and I am very pleased with our team's performance all season," said head coach Stephen Schram. "The team has proven that it can compete against top national contenders, so right now our primary focus is on the NCAA tournament which starts on Monday."
