FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – No. 6 Nova Southeastern University rowers
Bethany Warlich and
Sarah Woelfer received Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-America honors as announced by the CRCA on Thursday night.

Heather Barney. "They were absolutely the physical leaders on our team, pushing the boundaries of what has been thought to be possible here at NSU, and both are extremely well deserving of the recognition."
Warlich (Jr., Galloway, N.J.) was named a First Team All-American for the second consecutive year after she had another banner season as a clear leader of the Sharks' varsity eight. The veteran was part of the varsity eight that made its sixth consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships taking second in the Petite Final. She also helped lead the varsity eight to a second-place finish at the Sunshine State Conference Championships. Warlich participated in all varsity eight races but was also pivotal in the four boat as they claimed first at FIRA Championships.
Woelfer (Jr., Fishers, Ind.) earned Second Team All-American honors after making an immediate impact in her first year with NSU. She was also in the varsity eight boat that raced in the Petite Final at the 2016 NCAA Division II Rowing Championships. Woelfer was a key part in the Sharks' second-place finish at SSC Championships, and for her efforts, was named to the All-SSC Rowing Team. Outside of her spot in the V8 boat, Woelfer was in the varsity four boat that finished second out of 35 teams at the Head of the Charles Regatta.
Warlich and Woelfer are now the 18
th and 19
th Sharks to receive CRCA All-America honors. NSU has had at least one recipient for six straight seasons and in all but one season since the program's inception in 2003.
