FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern University Athletics is proud to announce the addition of
Noah Thaman to its Athletic Training Staff, as he began his position with the department on Wednesday.
Thaman comes to Fort Lauderdale having worked at, and gaining degrees from, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Butler University and Indiana University. He graduated with a bachelor of science in athletic training from PBA in 2013 while achieving over 1,200 hours of clinical experience from that school, and earned master's degrees from both Butler and IU.

Zevon Stubblefield, NSU's Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine. "Noah brings a wealth of experience and clinical skills to the position. Our NSU student-athletes are fortunate to have Noah as their athletic trainer."
At Butler, Thaman received a master of fine arts in creative writing and provided event coverage for the school. While at IU, while holding the position of graduate assistant within the athletic training department, he earned his master of science in kinesiology in athletic training, and also took part in the CAATE accredited post-professional athletic training program. Among his sports he headed up there was the 2016 National Championship-winning cheerleading team.
Along with cheerleading, Thaman has experience collegiately with student-athletes from sports such as, but not limited to, men's basketball, baseball, women's soccer, men's tennis, football, and men's and women's swimming and diving. That is in addition to a great deal of experience on the high school, middle school and club levels as well.
"I am pleased and honored to join the athletic training staff at Nova Southeastern University," said Thaman. "I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with athletes from a myriad of states, countries, and competitive platforms during my career, and I look forward to the chance to contribute the success and well-being of NSU student-athletes in years to come. Thaman is a licensed and certified athletic trainer (ATC, LAT) and has certifications that include Graston Technique M1 and Functional Movement Screen Level 1. He has extensive experience in teaching and research as well.
