FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern made quite the impression on the voters following its Top-5 finish at the Griffin Invitational, rising from No. 11 to No. 5 in the updated Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll.
Notable efforts from the likes of
Juan Jose Guerra,
Benjamin Hjort and
Finlay Mason guided the Sharks in the opening tournament of the fall that featured nine other ranked programs. With Nova Southeastern climbing to fifth, the Sunshine State Conference now holds four spots among the Top-5 and six among the nation's Top-10.
West Florida earned all 17 first-place votes to ascend atop the rankings, followed by Lynn, Florida Southern, Barry and NSU.
