Warlich Named CRCA Pocock First Team All-American

This is the senior rower’s third-consecutive nomination.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – For the third consecutive year, Nova Southeastern rower Bethany Warlich has earned a spot on the Pocock All-America Team, as announced by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) on Tuesday evening.

To be considered for this nomination, the student-athlete must be eligible and must have participated in at least 75 percent of all races during the current season in a varsity boat.

"Bethany is a young woman who has contributed to the top end speed of the team since her freshman year," boasted head coach Devin Fay. "A four-year member of the varsity eight, and the fastest woman in NSU history on the ergometer, Bethany set the bar high physically for future young women at NSU.  Her presence on our squad will be missed."

This season, along with being a member of the varsity eight, Warlich also saw time in the varsity four boat. She helped the Sharks to a third place finish in the varsity four race during the FIRA Championships, where the Sharks took home the overall crown for the first time since 2013. She was also a member of the Sharks eight boat that finished in third place at the SSC Championships, with a season-best 6:54.73. NSU would go on to grab second place overall.
