FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern University head softball coach Julie LeMaire has announced open tryouts for the 2018 season. The tryouts will be held at the AD Griffin Sports Complex on Wednesday, Aug. 23^rd beginning at 3 pm.

Any student interested in participating in the open tryouts, must be currently enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at Nova Southeastern and have completed a full physical from a licensed physician within the last six months prior to the tryout date. 
 
In order to participate, email all the required documents to Coach LeMaire at jlemaire@nova.edu prior to Aug. 23^rd. In addition, please include in the email your intention to attend and your tryout position so the coaching staff can prepare appropriate workouts.

Physical Form (provided by physician)
NSU Prospective Tryout/Medical Form
Sickle Cell Testing Form (must either be waived or completed prior to tryout)
Copy of Insurance Card (both front and back - please scan digital copies)
 
All potential student-athletes will be expected to showcase their speed, arm, fielding and hitting abilities with pitching and catching tryouts will be done last. Tryout participants must bring their own water bottle, cleats and glove to the tryout. Coaches will have helmets, bats and catcher gear available for use if attendees do not have those.
