FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – As the fall season gets back on track after Hurricane Irma, Nova Southeastern athletics announces its rescheduled dates for the multiple events that were postponed.
The changes to the originally-scheduled events include:
VOLLEYBALL
- The Sharks' conference opener against host Lynn scheduled for Sept. 15 has now been moved to Sept. 26 at 7:00 p.m. in Boca Raton, Fla.
- The home match against Barry that was originally to take place on Sept. 16 will now be played on Oct. 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rick Case Arena.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
- The game against No. 2 Columbus State that was originally supposed to take place at the PBC vs. SSC Invitational in Columbus, Ga. will now be played on Monday, Oct. 9 at 10:00 a.m. on CSU's home pitch.
- A non-conference match against Barry postponed from Sept. 13 will now take place on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 8:00 p.m.
- NSU's original conference play opener against Tampa on Sept. 16 has been rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the NSU Soccer Complex.
MEN'S SOCCER
- The Sharks' road match against Tampa that was scheduled to be held on Sept. 16 has been moved to Oct. 17 at 6:00 p.m. in Tampa, Fla.
- The non-conference matchup against Ave Maria has been rescheduled for Oct.19 at 6:00 p.m. at the NSU Soccer Complex.
- The Sept. 13 home match against SSC newcomer Embry-Riddle has been changed from Sept. 13 to Oct. 28 at 7:00 p.m.
CROSS COUNTRY
- The Sharks will not compete in a make up race at Florida Tech, and instead will add a race, The FLrunners.com Invitational 18, on Sept. 29 in Lakeland, Fla.
