Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2012-13)
Competed in every race during the spring season, splitting time between the varsty-8 and V4 boats...Rowed with the 4-boat that won the NCAA National Championship and the Sunshine State Conference Championship races...Helped the V4 finish in 7:43.85 at the NCAA National Championship...Rowed as a member of the V8 boat at the Spring Break Race and the Division II Duals.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12)
Was part of the Sharks’ varsity eight ‘A’ that won the FIRA Fall Classic (11/12/11)…Competed with the varsity four ‘A’ boat at Central Florida, finishing fourth (3/9/12)…Rowed with the second-place varsity eight ‘B’ boat (7:03.1) at the Governor’s Cup Regatta (3/17/12)…Defeated rival Barry in the varsity four race (9:00.9) by more than one minute (3/31/12)…Part of the junior varsity eight (7:40.5) and junior varsity four (8:15.5) that won their events at the FIRA Champions; the Sharks went on to win the All Points Trophy (4/14/12)…Came in fourth (7:10.6) in the second varsity eight race at the SIRA Championships (4/22/12)…Finished seventh in the varsity pair at the Dad Vail Regatta (5/12/12)…Came in second in the varsity four race with a time of 7:51.37 at the NCAA Championships (5/27/12).
AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11)
Second place in the novice eight at SIRA Championships... Awarded 2011 Sunshine State Conference Female Sportmanship Award, along with the rest of the boat, in the aid of a Rollins rower who was in distress after the SIRA final.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Barnstable High School…Participated on the rowing team for six years … Massachusetts and New Hampshire Champion…New England Interscholastic Rowing Association singles champion…Was finalist at National Championship and Stotesbury Cup in lightweight double…Placed second in 4x at South African National Championships…President of Best Buddies Club.
