AS A SOPHOMORE (2014)
Selected to the All-SSC Rowing Team...Named as a CRCA Scholar Athlete…Rowed in the varsity-8 boat that won second in the NCAA Championships…Rowed in the V8 that won the SSC Championship…Competed in the Miami Mix, FIRA Fall Classic, Rollins Spring Break Race, Central Oklahoma, Barry Dual, FIRA Championships, SIRA Championships, and Dad Vail Regatta on the varsity 8…Competed in the Rollins Spring Break Race and First Coast Head Race in the V4.
AS A FRESHMAN (2013)
Was one of two freshman, the other a coxswain, to appear in the varsity-8 boat in the spring...Torrisi was one of five rowers, and the only freshman, to appear in the V8 boat in every race of the spring...Was a member of the V8 boat that won the NCAA Division II National Championship, finishing with a time of 6:42.75...Was a member of the V8 boat that helped the Sharks take the team points title at the FIRA Championship.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Shenendehowa High School where she rowed under coach Drew Kroft...From senior year, won in the Canadian School boys 8... 7th place in the Head of the Charles open 4...5th place at Candian Henley...Was honored with a scholar athlete award.
PERSONAL
Born in Clifton Park, New York...Majoring in athletic training...Says chocolate is her favorite food...Hugh Lorrie is her favorite actor.
