AS A SENIOR (2017-18)
Named to the 2018 SSC Spring Commissioner Honor Roll... Raced with the junior varsity four that placed first (8:08.10) and the second varsity eight that finished second (7:20.97) at the FIRA Championship...Competed with the varsity four that placed fourth at the Sunshine State Conference Championship (7:53.14)…Ended the season with the varsity eight that finished first in the B Final at the Dad Vail Regatta (6:50.48).

AS A JUNIOR (2016-17)
Named to the SSC Spring Commissioner Honor Roll and All-SSC Tournament Team…Started the season on the four boat that placed seventh out of 35 at the Head of Charles Regatta with a time of 21:43.93…Raced with the varsity eight boat that finished fourth at UCF (7:01.30), second at the FIRA Championship and third at the Sunshine State Conference Championships…Raced with the club eight boat that finished sixth at the Knecht Cup (7:09.66) and varsity heavyweight division II boat that finished eighth at the Dad Vial Regatta (7:01.29)…Also raced in the varsity four boat that placed second and third at FIRA with times of 7:40.30 and 7:49.30 respectively.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16)
Competed at the UCF Regatta in the second varsity eight race finishing with a time of 7:34.11…Finished third in the DII four race at FIRA Championships…Claimed a win in the exhibition four race at SSC Championships with a time of 8:08.9…Claimed a win in the exhibition four race at SSC Championships with a time of 8:08.9…Part of the varsity pair that competed at the Dad Vail Regatta taking fifth out of 24 (7:35.28) in the first race and finishing fourth in the semi-final heat.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15)
Started her collegiate career against the eventual NCAA National Champions, Barry, in the second varsity-4 race...helped that boat finish in a time of 9:14.9...Raced in two boats at the FIRA Championship, the JV8 and JV4 events...Against the state's best crews, the Buse helped NSU finish second in the four and fourth in the eight.

Attended Marysville Getchell: Bio-med Academy…Played basketball for two years, and rowed for two years…Attended Everett Community College and received an Associates of Arts and Sciences Degree with honors…Two varsity letters… “Crew animal” award for exceptional work ethic and standing out among peers.

Biology major…Born in Everett, Wash…Parents are Kevin Buse and Debbie Richards…Volunteered steadily at Washington Home of Your Own (WAHOYO) and other community and high school events.…A member of the National Honor Society at her high school for a little over two years…Lists favorite sports team as the Seattle Seahawks and favorite athlete is Rhonda Rousey…Favorite food is salmon caught with her ‘bear’ hands, pun-intended...Favorite TV show is Friends and favorite actor is Chris Pratt...Enjoys spending time with loved ones, walking her dog Harvey, napping, tanning and cooking.
