Biography

AS A SENIOR (2016-2017)
Fall 2016: Finished in the Top-10 in three of the four competitions in the fall…Start T7 at the Division II Preview shooting 211 (71-70-75)…Followed with a second place finish at the Otter Invitational (69-71-70) which results in the season’s first Sunshine State Conference Golfer of the Week award…Ended the fall with a third place finish at the Golf Rank Invitational (70-75-68).
 
Winter 2017: Was the rock of the team leading the way with a 71.12 stroke average including eight Top-5 finishes…Named NCAA First-Team All-American, First Team All-Sunshine State Conference First and All-South Region…Represented Team Europe during the 2017 Arnold Palmer Cup in Atlanta and was named a finalist for the Jack Nicklaus Division II Player of the Year Award…Top five finishes include T3 at the Matlock Invitational (65-69-70) and Bobcat Invitational (72-74-71)…Led the team to victory with a first place finish at the Armstrong Pirate Invitational which led to his second SSC Golfer of the Week honor…Second at the Southeastern Collegiate (77-71-66)…T5 at the Battle of the Shores (73-73-68) and fourth at the Super Regional (69-68-72).

AS A JUNIOR (2015-2016)
Fall 2015:
Had two top-10 showings in four fall events…Was ninth in the lidlifter, the National Preview, in a field of 108 (74-69-69)…After wrapping in 20th at the Guy Harvey Invitational, he defended his individual medalist title in a playoff at the Otter Invitational, that against 97 other golfers (69-66-75).  

Spring 2016: The No. 9-ranked golfer in all of DII, GCAA/PING All-America Second Team, and Honorable Mention All-SSC member ended his season at the NCAA National Championships…Prior to that, had four consecutive top-20 finishes to kick off the spring…Was 14th at the Matlock Invitational, 10th at the South/Southeast Preview, ninth at the Southeastern Collegiate and 20th at the Bobcat Invite…Wrapped the season as the Sharks' low man at the SSC Championship (11th, 76-76-76) and the South/Southeast Super Regional (seventh, 67-72-76)…At the latter, he was the second-lowest individual not part of an advancing team, punching his ticket to Denver…There, he finished fifth of 108 golfers at 208 (69-68-71)…Was the team leader in stroke average (72.44), rounds in the 60's (eight) and par-or-better rounds (17).  

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15)
Fall 2014: Twice was the Sharks' low man in the fall, including medalist honors at the Otter Invitational…His debut match was a sixth-place finish at the Saint Leo Invitational, the best finish on the squad, and his opening 67 was the best round by any Shark in the fall (67-72—139)…At the Guy Harvey Invitational, notched another top-10 finish, ninth at an even-par 216 (68-74-74)…His win at the Otter Invitational was a three-stroke win as the only player under-par for the tournament, at 1-under 215 (71-71-73)…Shot a 4-over 220 to wrap the fall at the McDonough Cup, shooting an under-par round for the fourth straight event (70-75-75—220).

Spring 2015: First Team All-American finished as the No. 3-ranked golfer in all of DII…Was also NCAA All-South Region and a member of the All-SSC First Team…Had five top-three finishes in the spring, including medalist honors at both the St. Edward's Invitational and at the NCAA South/Southeast Super Regional, shooting 70-72-67 in the latter…Was runner-up at the Matlock Collegiate Classic (69-69-68), and third at both the Armstrong Pirate Men's Invite (75-69-72) and at the SSC Championships (72-71-69)…Had a final stroke average of 71.44.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Competed in five tournaments last season at Newberry, and finished eighth or better in each of the last three…His top finish was third out of 88 golfers in the Campbell Oil/Sunoco Classic at a 3-over 219, including his best round of the year, a 68 on the opening 18 holes…Had a 73.2 stroke average for the Wolves.

HIGH SCHOOL
At Chase Terrace Technology College, competed for coach Alistair Davis…Was placed on Gifted and Talented Programme, and also was a member of the soccer team for three years…Also competed for the Beaudesert Golf Club and the Staffordshire County squad…Is the latter's boys' record holder and was a first team men's player…Ranked in the top 20 in the nation at the under-18 level…Winner of many events, including: Staffordshire Boys, Staffordshire Amateur, Staffordshire Stag, Trentham Punch Bowl, Staffordshire Match Play and British Colleges National Champion.
 
PERSONAL
Will be majoring in sports management…Chose NSU because of the beautiful campus and area of Fort Lauderdale…Adam Sandler is his favorite actor, while Tiger Woods and Seve Ballesteros are his favorite professional athletes…His team of choice is Liverpool FC…Son of John and Ann, and has three sisters: Mel, Lisa and Amy.
