AS A SENIOR (2017-18)
Was third Shark in NSU history to be named SSC Women's Swimmer of the Year… became a two-time national champion in 2018, capturing the gold in the 400 IM with a time of 4:15.39… she also placed fourth in the 200 backstroke and sixth in the 200 IM at the championship meet… in relay competition, DeVeny helped NSU to third place in both the 200 and 400 medley relays and a sixth-place finish in the 800 freestyle relay… in 2017-18, DeVeny set individual NSU records in the 200 butterfly (1:59.80), the 200 IM (2:00.22) and the 400 IM (4:15.39), with all but the 200 IM serving as conference records, as well… in the relays at the SSC Championship meet, DeVeny and her fellow Sharks set conference, conference meet and NSU records in the 800 freestyle relay (7:22.14), the 200 medley relay (1:40.31) and the 400 medley relay (3:41.86)… along with being named Swimmer of the Year, DeVeny was also selected as the Women's Swimmer of the Meet at the 2018 SSC Championship, a member of the All-SSC First team and was a seven-time NCAA All-American ... the senior was also awarded the title of Ultimate Shark and Team MVP by the NSU swimming team… was named to the 2018 CSCAA Scholar All-America Team and the 2018 SSC Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
AS A JUNIOR (2016-17)
DeVeny claimed 4th place at the NCAA Championships in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:20.68, 7th in the 200-yard Backstroke (2:01.13), 19th in the 200-yard Individual Medley (2:04.74) and 17th in the 200-yard Butterfly (2:03.47)…Swam the backstroke leg of the Women’s 400-yard Medley Relay (3:42.59) that placed 4th…Launched the women’s team to a great start in the 200-yard Medley Relay (1:42.60) with a best time of 25.84…Named SSC Female Swimmer of the Meet. At the SSC Championships in February, DeVeny stamped the title for 200-yard Individual Medley (2:01.69), 200-yard Backstroke (1:57.94), 200-yard Butterfly (2:01.92), and the 400-yard Individual Medley (4:21.05)…Assisted the women’s team to claim the title in the 400-yard Medley Relay (3:44.39) and 200-yard Medley Relay (1:42.98)…During regular season, DeVeny won the 400 Individual Medley with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 4:28.07 at the FIU Tri-Meet in October…Claimed first in the 200 Butterfly with a provisional time of 2:03.22 at the Spartan Invitational…Achieved a provisional qualifying time as a member of the 400 Medley Relay (3:50.52) against Florida Southern.


AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16)
Finished 13th as part of the 200-yard medley relay (1:44.12) at NCAA Championships…Received 200-yard medley relay All-American Honorable Mention…Had the following finishes at SSC Championships: second in the 400-yard IM (4:26.19); second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:06.02); second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.37); and seventh in the 200-yard IM (2:06.54)…Named to the All-SSC First Team…Set a personal best time in the 50-yard backstroke (26.47)…Top regular season finishes include: first in the 50-back (27.13), first in the 200 IM (2:07.71) and first in the 200-fly (2:06.83) versus Tampa; first in the 100-yard backstroke (57.25) and 200-back (2:03.79) against Indian River State; and second in the 400 IM (4:33.31) versus Lynn.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15)
Had the following finishes at NCAA Championships: first in the 400-yard IM (4:16.63) setting a SSC overall and school record and a new personal best time; 10th in the 200-yard IM (2:03.34)…Received the following honors: 400 IM All-American; 400-yard medley relay All-American; 200 IM All-American Honorable Mention…Picked up the following finishes at SSC Championships: first in the 400 IM (4:16.83) setting a SSC championship meet record; first in the 200-yard butterfly (2:01.20) setting the SSC overall and meet records, school record and a career best time; first in the 200-yard backstroke (1:57.18) setting a NSU record and personal best time; second in the 200 IM (2:01.40) breaking the NSU record with a career high time…Broke the SSC Championship meet record as part of the 200-medley relay (1:42.53) and 400-medley relay (3:45.75) teams that both placed first…Set the overall conference records as part of the 200-medley relay (1:41.93) team and the school records in the 100-yard backstroke (55.92)…Named to the All-SSC First Team…Put up personal best times in the following events: 50-yard (24.75), 100-yard (54.02) and 500-yard freestyle (5:00.92) at the Shark Invitational; 200-yard freestyle (1:59.48) against Bridgeport; 100-yard backstroke (55.92) at NCAA Championships; 100-yard IM (1:02.28) versus Grand Valley…Had 14 first-place finishes and 12 second-place finishes during the regular season.
