Mission Statement

It is our mission to emphasize hard work rather than lifting a lot of weight. We stress the importance of proper lifting technique and muscular balance.

We strive to foster a training environment that will allow student athletes to see the importance of hard work, attention to detail, mental toughness, and the ability to push past pre-conceived limits.

Through hard work, focus, and a scientifically-based training routine, we believe that NSU athletes will maximize their potential and surpass their highest goals.

Our goal is to provide NSU athletes with a periodized training plan that will maximize athletic potential while reducing the risk of sports-related injury.

In all our endeavors, we are committed to the principles of ethical conduct, integrity, and excellence, in accordance with all NSU, Sunshine State Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Program Philosophy
It is the philosophy of the Strength and Conditioning department to provide student-athletes with a program that is…

  • Sport-Specific
  • Scientifically based and designed
  • Progressive
  • Safe and effective
