Senior pitcher Sara DeMuth (Plant City, Fla.) tallied 37 strikeouts in three starts and one relief appearance to lead NSU to a 3-2 record at the Eckerd College Tritons Tournament over the weekend. DeMuth recorded 14 strikeouts and allowed only four hits to lead the Sharks past an undefeated Flager team, 3-1. She then followed that performance with 10 strikeouts, while allowing only six hits, to push NSU past Saint Leo, 6-4.
