Zachary Westcott (So., Weston, Fla.) has been selected as the NSU Athlete of the Week for March 13, 2012. Westcott made his SSC debut Saturday, winning a complete game in the Sharks’ 3-1 defeat of Florida Tech. Westcott extended his record to 4-0 by holding the Panthers to one run and five hits. He struck out two batters in the contest and only walked two Panthers. He held a groundout/fly out ratio of 13/11. Westcott brought his ERA to 2.08 and now has an opposing batting average of .227.
