Heather Clayton earns NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week for serving as the coxswain for the Varsity Four, a the boat that took home the crown at the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta. After finishing first in both the preliminary heat and semifinal race, NSU’s varsity four took on a strong field featuring five other boats in the finals. The result would be the same as the first two rounds for the Sharks, edging runner-up Bowdoin by almost four seconds with a time of 7:43.40 to win their second Aberdeen Dad Vail Championship in three years.
