Sharif Shears (Fr., Davie, Fla.) has earned NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week recognition for scoring the Sharks’ final goal in a 4-3 loss against Florida Tech on Saturday. The goal was set up when Stefano Fanfoni (Fr., Cremona, Italy) played a through ball to Shears, who found himself one-on-one with the goal keeper and with fancy footwork, maneuvered his way around the goalkeeper to score an easy goal. Shears tallied two shots on the night.
