Senior midfielder Alexis Hernandez was named SSC Player of the Week after scoring three goals to lead the Sharks to an SSC win over Barry and a tie at No. 4 Rollins. Hernandez opened the week by netting two goals in a soaking 3-0 win over the Buccaneers. Playing in the remnants of Tropical Storm Nicole, she posted her first multi-goal game of the season. Hernandez then scored a goal in the 73rd minute to give NSU a 2-1 lead in what eventually ended as a 2-2 tie against the nationally-ranked Tars.
