Jessica Osteen (Sr., Las Vegas, Nev.) earned NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week honors for being named Co-Peach Belt Conference Runner Of The Year with teammate Peri Bowman. Osteen won the 400-meter run with a NCAA automatic qualifying standard with a time of 56.07, a meet record. She also was the 400-meter hurdles champion with a time of 1:01.97 to make her second provisional qualifying time of the meet. Osteen then continued her success and participated in the 4x400 relay where the she led off for the Sharks as they won the event with a stadium record time of 3:49.13. The team included: Monica Sapp (Fr., Miami, Fla.), Quannisha Allen (Fr., St. Augustine, Fla.) and Johniqua Stafford (Sr., Fort Worth, Texas). Osteen also had a successful meet in the 4x100 relay as well.
