Alex Marrero (Sr., Miami, Fla.) earns NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week after he closed out his career by batting .636 (7-for-11) with four RBI and five runs in the Sharks’ SSC series sweep of No. 19 Florida Tech. Marerro tallied multiple hits in each game of the series en route to a .667 on-base percentage. He also collected three extra-base hits while recording a 1.182 slugging percentage.
