Grundstrom (Fagersta, Sweden) a junior for the men’s first-year program helped lead the Sharks to a second straight SSC win last week, this time over the Tampa Spartans by a final score of 158-104 on Saturday, Oct. 23. His three wins in the distance freestyle races earned top points for the team in each event. In the men’s 200-yard free, he recorded the top time of 1:46.22, followed by a time of 4:45.28 in the 500-yard free. He ended the day in the same fashion he started with a winning time of 9:53.11 in the 1000-yard freestyle to secure his fifth straight win in the distance events.
