Distance swimmer Florian Mehlan (Sr., Moers, Germany) takes NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week for his performance in the Sunshine State Conference opening weekend. He earned a B qualifying time of 9:17.30 in the 1,000-yard freestyle against Florida Tech last Friday. He also swam against Saint Leo in the 500-free, clocking in at 4:48.21.
