Erika Garcia repeated as NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week after another dominant performance to lead the Sharks to a third straight SSC series sweep and a split with No. 24 Palm Beach Atlantic. Garcia finished the week hitting .611 (11-for-18) and slugging 1.056 with two doubles and two home runs. She also collected nine RBI and scored six times. Against Palm Beach Atlantic, the senior went 5-for-9 at the plate with three RBI and two runs scored and a home run. Against Florida Southern, Garcia went 6-for-9 with six RBI and four runs scored. In the series finale, she went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run.
