Thiago Sickert made a big splash in his debut meet as a Shark. On Friday, the freshman placed second in the A-Final of the men's 50-yard freestyle, with a NCAA National's B qualifying time of 20.46. On Saturday, Sickert set the tone with a second-place finish in the A-Final of the 100- fly with a NCAA National's B qualifying time of 48.23, but he wasn't done there. Sickert would also place third in the 100- back A-Final with an impressive NCAA National’s B qualifying time of 50.25 as well as his fourth NCAA National’s B qualifying time in the 200- free. Sickert wrapped up the All-Florida Invitational with his fifth and final NCAA National’s B qualifying time in the 100- free with a time of 45.07.
