Jasmine Wilkins led the Sharks to two victories over top-25 opponents and gave the team at least a share of the regular season SSC title by defeating No. 17 Rollins and No. 20 Florida Tech. The senior forward had 21 and 19 points respectively, the former coming in the Senior Night win over Rollins. In that game she shot 7-of-11 from the field and the same mark from the line, and added six rebounds and three blocked shots. Then on Saturday, in the victory over Florida Tech, she tied for the team best with 19 points and was even more efficient, making 7-of-9 shots and 5-of-7 free throws. She again had six boards in that victory.
 
In the last four games, Wilkins is averaging 20.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and is shooting 71.7 percent from the field. On the season, she leads the Sharks in scoring at 14.4 points and is among the nation's leaders in field goal percentage at 63.7 percent. She is the third women's basketball player to be recognized with this award by the conference, joining  Jessica Valley (R-Jr., Lafayette, Ind.) and Kayla Wright (So., Lauderhill, Fla.).
