Richard Mansell was one of three Shark golfers who finished in a tie for third to help the team win both their second straight tournament of the season while successfully defending their title from last year at the Armstrong Pirate Invite. His second-round 69 and even-par final 18 holes were two of the lowest scores at the end of each round, allowing the No. 1 Sharks to come from behind and take the nine-stroke victory.  Overall for the tournament, he shot an even-par 216 as the team won its third event of the year, the fifth straight in which they've finished either as winner or runner-up. NSU is currently ranked first in the nation by both the GCAA and Golfstat, while Mansell is the No. 6-ranked individual in all of DII.
