Daniela Ortiz was the Pirate Women’s Invitational medalist as the Sharks took the team title in Pooler, Ga. She shot a first round 3-under-par 69 and won by two strokes with a 145 total. The then-No. 5 NSU squad defeated three teams ranked ahead of them in a field of 16, and has since moved to No. 2 in the nation according to Golfstat.
