Rebecca Thornton led the NSU softball team to a 2-1 series win over Tampa on the road. Facing the league's premier pitcher in Julia Morrow, Thornton held a 1.09 ERA over three games. She earned a win in game two Saturday, and after resting the first four innings of game three, came back out to earn her second save in the series-clinching victory.
