Krista Colburn earns NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week for her game-winning hit on her senior day to claim a 6-5 win over Palm Beach Atlantic in the 10th inning. Katrina Ammons led off the bottom of the 10th with a double to right field and was pinch run by Angilica Montalvo. The freshman was plated by Rebecca Thornton on a single up the middle, followed by an identical result from senior Shelby Cogan. With the tying run at first, Colburn came up to bat looking to play the hero. Colburn mashed a deep ball into the right centerfield gap, easily scoring the two base runners and emptying the dugout.
