NSU swimmer Jorge Ospina has received NSU male athlete of the week honors after being named Counsilman-Hunsaker National Collegiate Swimmer of the Week for D-II men. In a meet against Florida Atlantic, Ospina won the 100 fly (50.65, NCAA "B" cut & school record), as well as the 500 free (4:43.01). The 500 free mark was a personal best time. He also swam on the winning 200 medley relay (1:36.86, 22.74- fly split).
