Devin Raftery was named the MVP of the 2016 NCAA South Region Tournament this past weekend, as he led the Sharks to the program's first ever region title. Raftery tossed 7.2 innings, striking out 16 hitters in what was one of the most dominant performances on the mound that the tournament has seen in many years according to multiple sources that have been around the tournament for the past decade. The senior right hander has a 1.17 ERA through 46.0 innings pitched this year and has struck out 82 batters.
