The Varsity 8 crew competed this weekend in one head-to-head showdown against Barry in a dual held Saturday in Miami, Fla. The Sharks posted a victory time of 7:06.3 to pull across the line five seconds ahead of the Buccaneers to earn Sunshine State Conference Boat of the Week for the third consecutive week.

Manning the NSU boat was coxswain Elizabeth Tortorici (Winter Park, Fla.), Alyssa O'Donnell (Ballston Spa, N.Y.),Lauren Boudreau (Waterford, N.Y.), Catherine Plesko (Brandon, Fla.), Abigail Schiavo (Northfield, N.J.), Taylor Van Horn (Cape Coral, Fla.), Claire Kurlychek (Land O' Lakes, Fla.), Jessica Sutter (Miami Beach, Fla), and Mallorie Reinecke (Buffalo, N.Y.)
