Nova Southeastern outfielder Nikko Echevarria (Jr., Abqaib, Saudi Arabia) earned Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week honors for the week ending April 17, 2011. He batted .533 with five runs and 12 RBI to lead the Sharks to a 3-1 weekly record on the road, including an SSC sweep at Saint Leo. He hit safely in each game and tallied multiple hits in two. He notched two home runs, a triple, and a double while recording a 1.133 slugging percentage.
