Erin Black (Jr., Fort Myers, Fla.) earns NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week for her performance in the pool against No. 9 Tampa. She was the top performer for the women as she took two individual victories and helped fight off Tampa’s comeback by racing in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Her times of 10:35.19 in the 1000-freestyle and 5:07.91 in the 500-yard freestyle were both NCAA B-cut times. She swam the first leg of the 400-fresstyle relay race and helped her team claim second place, clinching the Sharks’ victory over a top-10 opponent.
