Ryan Cobb
Men's Golf 1998-2002Cobb was a member of the NSU men's golf team and helped lead the team to a Florida Sun Conference Championship in 2001. In 2002, he was named Florida Sun Conference Player of the Year and Region XIV Player of the Year. He was also named an NAIA All-American and captured the Regional Championship in that same year.
Cobb holds the record for all-time wins with three. His top-10 all-time records include a 75.31 scoring average (2nd), a 79.9% finishing percentage (2nd), 13 par or better rounds (3rd), and 48 rounds played (7th). His individual season records include a 93.8% finishing percentage (1st), three wins (1st), 73.46 scoring average for 24 rounds (2nd), No. 22 national rating (2nd), and 10 par or better rounds (3rd). He owns the individual event records for best score-54 holes with a 3-under par (213) and best finish-54 holes with a 3-under par (70-72-71=213), both at the NAIA Region 14 Championship. His lowest round (3) score of 69 ranks 3rd.
Ryan graduated from NSU with a degree in accounting. He is currently playing professional golf on the Nationwide Tour, which operates throughout the United State and internationally, including Panama, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. He resides in Vero Beach with his wife Sarah.
