The NSU Men's Soccer team (7-5-1, 3-2-1) suffered its first loss at home on Wednesday night, losing 3-0 to ninth-ranked Lynn University (11-1, 5-1) at the NSU Soccer Complex.

Lee Porter opened the scoring in the 7th minute, receiving a pass from Jean Alexandre and putting it past Sharks 'keeper Jarod Rennick (Jr., Allen, Texas) for the quick 1-0 lead.

Carl Wallace and Dwight Barnett also added goals for the Fighting Knights.

Lynn 'keeper Tim Melia made one save while Rennick turned away five shots on goal.

The Sharks will be back in action on Saturday, October 14 as they travel to Lakeland, Fla. to face Florida Southern College at 7p.m.
